Nelson Gallery is located at 27 West Washington Street, Lexington, Virginia. We welcome the public free of charge in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The Gallery is open 11 AM to 5 PM daily, except Wednesdays and Sundays. Click on "Contact" at the bottom of this page to be added to our mailing list.
The Gallery features one or more local, regional or national artists monthly, while a group of local artists display their works on an ongoing basis. Receptions are held on the first Friday of the month, from 5 to 7 PM. The Back Room sometimes hosts special community exhibits. A juried show is held each August, with entries due in June. Watch this website for entry information.
On this website, the measurements of works are approximate and usually exclude mat and/or frame, if any. Purchasers are responsible for actual packing and shipping costs. Virginia's 5% sales tax will be charged as required by law.
