Janet Weaver studied art history at Mary Baldwin College and the Ecole du Louvre and studio art at Mary Baldwin, at the Art Students' League and Parsons in New York, and at Studio Eleven in Lexington. She works digitally with her photographs and is webmaster of this site.

Kirah Van Sickle, who holds a Master of Science degree in medical illustration, is a painter, natural science illustrator and creative director of Animania, a creative consulting company. She is a former member of Nelson Gallery and now lives in Wilmington NC.

John Winfrey has painted in oils and watercolors since nursery school, and his current works also include acrylics. He studied art at Davidson College and at Washington & Lee with Probaska and MacIllvain.

Jean Marie Tremmel, a former member of Nelson Gallery, works two-dimensionally in several media. After attending the University of Oklahoma, she studied at Southern Methodist University in Dallas through a Meadows Foundation Scholarship.
